The Baptist Medical Centre was founded in northern Ghana in 1958 by IMB missionary doctor George Faile II. Today it is a 300+ bed hospital serving tens of thousands of patients annually.

BMC Guesthouse Rates
Our BMC guesthouse rates have been updated to a single $30/person all inclusive daily rate and $35/day for an air-conditioned room.
MDCG Physician License Renewal Fees Increase
The Medical Dental Council Ghana has increased retention (renewal) fees for licensed physicians from 400GHS to 506GHS (currently around 32USD). This affects all volunteer physicians who have previously been licensed and wish to return to serve at BMC.
